Bodies of water have been an element in Dawn’s paintings for sometime. Rarely intended as the main subject but site specific and presented in a contextual way requiring visual interpretation. Attraction to lakes, ponds and shorelines is part of human nature. Water holds cultural and spiritual significance for many and remains a universal necessity for all.
